Purpose: To deepen the
sense of secularity of the State over the
religious factor as a component of the human dimension, in order to provide elements for understanding the
legal issues involving the relationship between Church and State, both as regards to the
legal consequences of separation between them, as well as in relation to the
forms and limits of mutual cooperation and the guarantee of respect for
religious freedom in a pluralistic and democratic State of law.
